## Managing customers

### The Customers tab

The **Customers** tab of each product shows who has access to it. Use it to check whether a specific person can listen, and to see how they got access.

### Members vs. direct buyers

People can have access to an audio product in two ways:

- As a buyer: they bought the product on its own (Fixed price) or claimed it (Free).
- As a member: their membership tier includes the product.

Membership-only products have no direct buyers, because they can't be purchased separately. Their audience is the members of the tiers you ticked in the Pricing tab.

### What happens when a membership ends

Members keep access only while their membership is active and their tier includes the product. If a membership ends or the member moves to a tier that doesn't include the product, they lose access to it. Direct buyers keep access.
