title: Pricing and access

## Pricing and access

Everything about who can listen, how they get access and what they're allowed to do lives in the product's **Pricing** tab. Each setting is explained below.

### Choosing a pricing model

The **Pricing model** card controls how buyers pay for standalone access. Pick one:

| Model | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| Free | No payment required. |
| Fixed price | You set a specific price. |
| Membership Only | Included with the membership tiers you select, and not sold separately. |

A product has one pricing model at a time.

### Free products

Use Free when you want anyone to listen without paying: a sample track, a lead magnet, an introduction to a series. Free products still appear in your catalog and on their own product page.

### Fixed price products

Choose Fixed price to sell the product on its own at a price you set. Buyers pay the price you set and get access to the product.

### Membership-only products

Choose Membership Only when the product should be a benefit of your memberships rather than something people buy separately. Nobody can purchase it on its own; only members of the tiers you select can access it.

After selecting this model, the **As part of a membership** section lists your memberships and their tiers, each with its monthly and yearly price. Tick every tier that should include the product. In the wizard this selection is required; in the Pricing tab, the section appears with the box already ticked.

### Choosing which membership tiers get access

Tiers are grouped by membership. For example, a membership called "Listening Circle" might contain Listener, Harmonia and Circle tiers, each priced monthly and yearly.

- Tick a tier to give its members access.
- Untick a tier to remove access for its members.
- If you run a ladder of tiers, include the lowest tier that should have access and every tier above it.

### Allow track downloads

The **Allow track downloads** switch decides whether listeners can only stream or can also save the files.

- Off: listeners can stream only. Membership and buyer download rights are limited to streaming, and the page warns you that buyers and plans can grant stream access only.
- On: listeners can download the tracks.

The switch applies to everyone who has access, regardless of how they got it.

### Choosing a license

The **License** card defines how buyers are allowed to use the product:

| License | Intended use |
| --- | --- |
| Personal use only | Non-commercial projects only. |
| Commercial license | Client work and commercial projects. |
| Extended / unlimited | No restrictions, including resale. |

Choose Personal use only for music, meditations and other listening content. Choose Commercial or Extended when you sell audio that buyers will use in their own work, such as sound effects or background music.
