Private vs. Public
Your teacher will send you a URL to the student portal. If you are taking a private course or exam, use the login credentials sent to you in an email. If you are taking a public course or exam, click on the menu in the top right to view available public courses and exams.
Private Course & Exams
• For private courses and exams, teachers register their students and email them the username, password, and URL where they log in to take their classes or exams. Teachers can also enable self-registration, allowing anyone with the proper URL to sign up.
Public Courses & Exams
• For public courses and exams, a teacher will also need to email you the URL where you can take their public courses or exams, either free or for a fee. Free public courses and exams are not tracked—you'll receive a score, but your teacher will not know who took them.
Public Courses & Exams to Purchase
• Teachers can offer their course(s) or exam(s) for a fee. Once the student portal loads and you click on public exams, you can see which course(s) or exam(s) are for sale.
Note: Existing students can log in to purchase the exam, or you can register as a new student. All paid courses and exams are saved in the database and available for your teacher to review.
