If you make music, meditations, guided sessions or any other kind of audio, you can now sell it, share it or include it in a membership from your own branded portal, with a player your listeners will actually enjoy using. eProfessor's new audio products turn a handful of tracks into something people can find, stream and come back to, without sending them to a third-party platform, and with no per-transaction platform fees (Stripe's standard card processing fee still applies).

## Three ways to offer your audio

Every audio product has one pricing model, and you can pick the one that fits what you're releasing:

- Free. Anyone can listen, no payment required. Good for introductions, samples and lead magnets.
- Fixed price. You set a price and listeners pay it to get access. Good for albums and standalone releases.
- Membership only. The product is part of your memberships and isn't sold separately. You choose which tiers include it, so a monthly listener tier can unlock the album while a premium tier unlocks more.

The third option is the one worth thinking about if you already run, or plan to run, a membership. Instead of selling each release one by one, you can make new audio a reason to join and a reason to stay.

## Stream only, or let people keep the files

The question every audio creator eventually asks is whether listeners should be able to take the files with them. Each product has an **Allow track downloads** switch, so the answer is yours to make per product.

With downloads off, listeners can stream and nothing more, whether they came in through a membership or bought the product. That fits a meditation series people return to inside your portal, or a members-only release you want to keep members-only. With downloads on, buyers can save the tracks and use them offline.

If your audio is meant to be used in other people's work, such as background music or sound effects, you can also set a license on the product:

| License | What buyers can do |
| --- | --- |
| Personal use only | Non-commercial projects only. |
| Commercial license | Client work and commercial projects. |
| Extended / unlimited | No restrictions, including resale. |

## Let people listen before they commit

People rarely join or buy audio they haven't heard. You have two ways to solve that, and which one fits depends on how much you want to share.

For a quick teaser, add a sample file in the product's **Preview** tab. It holds one file, so it works best as a short excerpt from the album.

For something more generous, create a second audio product priced as Free and put several tracks in it. Picture a membership-only album next to a free companion with a few of its tracks. Visitors can listen to the free one, then join to unlock the full release. Mention the sample in the full album's description and link to it so nobody has to hunt for it.

And if you want to share a product with a specific audience first, turning off **Show in public catalog** takes it out of the catalog while keeping the link working for anyone you send it to.

## What your listeners see

When listeners open an audio product, they land on a page built around your cover art, title and description, with the number of tracks beside them and a **Play all** button right underneath. Below that is the track list, in the order you chose and under the display names you gave each track.

A player bar stays at the bottom of the screen while they listen. It shows the current track and gives them shuffle, previous, play and pause, next, repeat, elapsed time and volume. They can move through the album without losing their place on the page.

Because you control the order and the names of the tracks, an album can read like an album, and a meditation series can read like a guided path from the first track to the last.

## Create your first audio product

You can have a first product live in four short steps. Go to **Content > Audio** in your dashboard and click **New audio product**, then add your title and description, upload your tracks and an optional cover, choose how people get access, and publish.

Start small: one album, one pricing choice, one free sample. You can change the pricing, the order of your tracks and the cover whenever you like.
