Taking an Exam

The student portal for taking an exam is the same for public (free or paid) and private tests; only access to the exams is different.

• Students can access private exams via the student portal by entering their username and password.

•Students can access public exams by clicking on the menu in the top right corner of the student portal and selecting public exams.

Choosing an Exam

A list of available exams will appear once students log in or select public exams. If you do not see any exams listed, your teacher has not activated the test or enrolled you for that specific exam.

If your teacher is selling access to their exam(s), you will see the option to purchase them with their accompanying fee. If you click the purchase button, you will be guided through a payment process via credit card and will be allowed instant access to the test. Your teacher determines how many times (if any) you are allowed to take the test and if there is a retake fee.

If you have previously started an exam, you can resume taking it as long as it hasn't expired.

Graded Exams

If you have previously taken an exam, you will see them listed. Your teacher will determine what you can view after an exam has been graded. When you review a graded course or exam, you'll see various options your teacher may use.

The following options are determined by your teacher when reviewing a graded test:

1. Your score
2. The question.
3. Correct answers chosen.
4. Incorrect answers chosen.
5. Question descriptions or hints.

The following is a thoroughly graded exam with all options turned on.
