Create Questions

To add a question to your exam, follow these steps:

 

1. Log in to the teacher admin and click on "Exams" in the top menu.

2. Click on the course or exam you wish to add a question, then select the content icon in the vertical center bar.

3. To the right, click on "Add New".

4. In the questions tab, enter the question text, the hint/explanation (optional), and topics or categories so that the question will be easily searchable in the future. 

 

The question editor allows you to use all sorts of HTML goodies. For instance, you can copy/paste video URLs (or upload your own), add images, format text, lists, math equations, links, tables, and more. 

 

 

5. Click on the "Answers" tab. Select your question type.

6. Click on the answers tab and begin typing your answers. Continue to click "Add answer" to add to the list below. Be sure to set the correct answer. Click on the pencil icon next to any answer to edit, or use the grab handle icons to move questions up or down in order.

 

 

7. Click on the "Images" tab (optional). You can upload JPG, PNG, or GIF images (even animated GIFS) that will show during the test, which will enlarge when clicked on. 

 

8. Click "Preview" below to see what the question might look like for your students.

 

9. When satisfied with your question, click the "Save Changes" button below. The question will be added to the column to the left.
